Amin is the cofounder of TheBlackLab, an Italian digital studio. Andy Needham

Andy Needham is a senior motion designer specialised in design, animation, and compositing with over 15 years of experience. Over the years, Andy has continued to develop his craft both technically and artistically and is skilled in a variety of software with particular emphasis on Cinema 4D and After Effects. Andy is an experienced author with a demonstrated history of working in the e-learning industry teaching the software he loves to use on LinkedIn Learning and Lynda.com.

Eric de Broche des Combes

Based in Paris (France), Eric de Broche is a DPLG architect and graphic designer born in 1971. He is the founder of Luxigon, an architectural visualization office. He also regularly joins other design teams, contributes to publications and gives lectures on the theory, practice, and history of image. Computer gaming technology and its possible applications in the world of art, as well as architecture and urbanism, is another passion he pursues alongside teaching at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Lars Scholten

Lars (CyBear) is a freelance CG artist, trainer, and Cinema 4D Lead Instructor based in Amsterdam. He works closely with other freelancers on joint projects for clients like Disney Channel, Ziggo, Liberty Global and several Dutch TV networks. He is specialized in modeling, rigging, and rendering. In addition to personal training, he often shares his knowledge on 3D and visual effects on trade shows, events and short tutorials on Vimeo.

Maggy Fischer & Manuel Kotulla

Maggy has been working as Head of Neverest Postproduction since 2013. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Economics from LMU Munich, she started her career in the media business at ARRI. She has been a co-founder of Second Unit Services, Stereolize, and Ventuz as well as a business director at DAS WERK. She realized early on that she wouldn’t be able to live without postproduction and is now looking back on more than 25 years of professional experience.

Manuel started his way towards 3D as a classic advertising art director, looking at his layouts long enough until he could see them start moving. Astonished by the lively shapes and colors, he decided to look into all aspects of CGI and fell in love with telling stories through animation. Nowadays he works as a creative director for animation & visual effects at Neverest Film.

Peter Eszenyi

Peter Eszenyi

Peter Eszenyi is a VFX Supervisor and Creative Director whose portfolio includes major motion pictures like Blade Runner 2049, Ghost In The Shell and Pacific Rim: Uprising. He leads design teams and supervises visual effects for feature films, television shows, and commercials. He is particularly interested in solving creative problems by experimenting with new techniques and helping to develop future technologies in the process. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society. He has recently completed work on a much-anticipated Netflix series.

Simone Nucci & Tiny Bernhard

Simone Nucci – Motion Designer, Detail AG
Born in Italy in 1981, he studied Industrial and Communication Design in Florence, Italy and in Saarbrücken, Germany. As he was always interested in 3D and animation, after his graduation he decided to dive into this field and started working in Cologne as a motion designer and 3D animator. Besides the job he also toured with a VJ Team to various festivals and concerts all over Europe. From 2011 to 2016 he worked as a senior on air designer for SRF (Swiss national TV channel) in Zurich, where he met Tiny Bernhard. He was responsible for the development of campaigns, image films, infographics and openers of the SRF program coverage. From 2016 until now he is working for Detail AG and together with Tiny, he is leading the motion design department.

After a four year apprenticeship, Tiny began to work as a graphic designer in Bern. Fascinated by motion design his career started as a runner for various music clip productions in Zurich. He broadened his knowledge in the fields of post-production and editing in a German stop motion agency due to an internship. This led to a production of a short animation film in collaboration with an upcoming director and widened the interest to work in this field. From 2005 to 2016 he worked as a senior motion designer in the on-air design team of SRF (Swiss national TV channel) where he met Simone Nucci. Together with the team, he was responsible for channel brands and the development of the opening sequences. From 2016 until now he is working at Detail AG and together with Simone, he is leading the motion design department.

Sophia Kyriacou

Sophia Kyriacou is a senior-level creative designer who has been working in the broadcast industry for over 22 years. She spends her time working for both the BBC in London and as a freelancer where her work has been seen and enjoyed by millions of viewers worldwide. She has been using Cinema 4D for almost 20 years where it still plays an important part in her overall workflow. Sophia is also a full voting member at BAFTA.

Thomas is a freelance designer and digital artist from Cologne, Germany. He studied graphic design and works now mainly in broadcast design and channel rebranding. Fascinated by bringing a design piece to life by adding some motion, from the beginning Cinema 4D quickly evolved to one of his main tools, enjoying the variety of work he can create. Besides his strong belief in a well-elaborated and stable concept, he is passionate about creating design-systems to keep things in order.
